Well I am a bit late with this post guys as I had a trip to the coast today to take my son to the airport so he can go back to work. He works away as a miner and his fiance works also so the job falls to mum! I don’t mind tho, he’s a good boy and we are a super close family even though we fight at times, we are still always there for each other.
So my daughter is talking to me again which didn’t take long, she just can’t deal with not being able to talk to me or see me everyday which is nice. I did some serious intercession prayer for the Peace in our family tho because the devil is really having a crack at me through any channel he can, this time it was the kids, its usually finances but I have learnt to ignore that worry by always saying “My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in Christ Jesus” Phill 4:19 and that works wonders. This time I used a prayer from a prayer book that I use every day, I am not that fluent with words so need help and these prayer books are awesome! This prayer worked very well which is no surprise, God’s word does not return to him void but it accomplishes what it set out to do! Say this prayer when you feel strife in your family and it will surely work for you too! It’s our job to guard our family, stand in the gap, fight for it and above all have authority over it and nothing not of God can come near it!
Peace in the Family
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that You have poured Your Spirit upon our family from on high. Our wilderness has become a fruitful field and we value our fruitful field as a forest. Justice dwells in our wilderness, and righteousness abides in our fruitful field. The effect of righteousness is peace (internal and external), and the result of righteousness quietness and confident trust forever.
Our family dwells in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings and in quiet resting places. And there is stability in our times, abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. There reverent fear and worship of the Lord is our treasure and Yours.
O Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited (expectantly) for You. Be the arm of Your servants – our strength and defense – every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.
Father, we thank You for our peace, our safety and our welfare this day. Hallelujah!
