What Is Your Treasure?

I came across this scripture the other day and I do believe the Holy Spirit led me here because I have read it a hundred times before but really missed the meaning of it. The thing that really smacked me in the face was verse 21, you’re treasure is where you’re heart is! I was like Ohhhhhh Myyyyy Goodness how did I miss this!

Where your treasure is your heart will be also……..I think what Jesus is trying to say here is don’t make things of the flesh your treasure because they will surely lead you to crap but make Jesus your treasure, the Kingdom of God your treasure and that’s where you heart will be also.  If you treasure Jesus and the Kingdom of God above all fleshly treasures, then you shall really know what true treasure is. See we think of money, houses, flash cars, jewellry, possessions as our treasures, we measure our worth by the amount of fleshly treasure we have but we are forgetting and ignoring the REAL treasure which is Jesus.  Fleshly treasures will erode, decay rot and need replacing but the love of Jesus will never decay, it is always there for us to grab hold of, hope in, love, and TREASURE.  This is where we are really missing it, if we treasure the Kingdom of God and Jesus then the fleshly treasures will follow anyway, but this time we have Jesus to keep us from corroding away as well, make sense?

We are in the end days and we really need to start understanding what God is trying to tell us in the Bible. Pray for wisdom before you read and he will show you truths that only he an give you!
